I use this book often as a reference point to settle some ID riddle, or as a way to “bone up” before I know I’ll be forced to identify winter terns, or scaup in flight, etc. Why is this meaningful? Because I wrote a lot of the book and edited all of it, yet I STILL find it to be a really useful reference!
